First Race

Today is a big day for our family.  My husband and I are avid runners and today was our daughters first kids race.  It wasn't timed, just for fun but she had a GREAT time :)  By the way, we only registered her due to her begging us to let her run a race.

Finally her OWN race bib, no more stealing mine and her very own race shirt.   She's just a little proud...

Stretching is very important!  I wish she would have let me get take a picture of her stretching next to her dad - adorable!

Nearly finished with the race.  The 1 mile race was a long way for those little legs!   She was a trooper and did a great job, finishing in 11:00!

It was a chilly morning, but we all had fun.   Happy Birthday to my husband!  Sorry I made you run the 5K alone, hopefully these allergies will clear soon!

Lacy's Maternity Pics - Baby Boy #3!!

I was totally thrilled when my friend told me she was expecting baby #3 and completely honored when she asked if I would take maternity photos.   I cannot wait for his arrival - he will be boy #3 for this adorable family.

Beach!

Seize all opportunities - an opportunity to go to the beach for just a couple of hours.... why, of course :)

It's pretty obvious that we're tourists - all the Texans are bundled up in their parkas on the beach and we have our kids in their swimming suits.   Mid 70s with warm sun and warm breeze = nearly perfect!

My standard footprint picture that is taken with every trip to the beach :)   Note:  the kids footprints are almost the same size....

Last time we were at the beach he was still getting around on all fours.   This is SO MUCH more fun!

Rainbow Ranch

I've driven past the Rainbow Ranch hundreds of times and never stopped.  We decided to visit there today and were lucky enough that our good friends were able to join us. 

Allen was great with the animals and the kids.   He has a few babies at the ranch, first up the baby goat.
